How to Measure for your Window Covering

All Mini-Blinds Our standard mini-blind sizes are window opening dimensions. These sizes fit window openings up to ½" wider and ¼" narrower than the size shown.
- Inside Mount
Width - measure your window opening in 3 places: across the top, middle & bottom. Give us your narrowest measurement.
Length - measure your window opening in 3 places vertically and give us the longest measurement.
Specify inside mounting on order form and we will take the necessary deductions. - Outside/Wall Mount
Measure the entire width and length of the area you wish to cover. It is recommended that you add 1-4 inches to ensure total coverage.
Specify outside mounting on order form.
Your blind will be manufactured to these exact dimensions. - Depth Requirements
Inside mount mini-blinds, require a window sill depth of ¾"
- Inside Mount
Width - Measure your window opening at the top only.
Length - Measure your window opening in 3 places and give us the shortest measurement .
Specify inside mounting on order form and we will take the necessary deductions. - Outside/Wall Mount
Measure the entire area you wish to cover. It is recommended that you add 3" to each side and 3" to the length to ensure total coverage of the window.
Specify outside mounting on order form.
Your verticals will be manufactured to these exact dimensions. - Depth Requirements
Inside mount verticals require a window sill depth of 2 ½".
- Existing Rod
Width - Measure exact rod width excluding the mounting bracket returns and overlaps. To calculate finished width add 6" if drapery is one way, or 12" if drapery is center open.
Length - Measure from the top of the rod to your desired length.
Specify finished width on order form.
Your draperies will be manufactured to these exact dimensions. - No Rod Existing
Measure exact opening and location for brackets. Add 6" for one-way pull, or 12" for center open.
